YOUNG, OWEN D. (1874-19??) American businessman who served as chairman of the second committee of financial experts of the Allied Reparations Commission for WWI debts and reparations, which produced the so-called Young Plan in 1929. From 1922 to 1939, he served as chairman of the board of the General Electric Company. He organized the Radio Corporation of America (RCA) in 1919.

YORCK von WARTENBURG, PETER GRAF (1903-1944) Nobleman and prominant member of the German resistance, one of the founders of the Kreisau Circle, and a cousin of Claus Schenk von Stauffenberg. Arrested following the failed attempt on Hitler's life on July 20, 1944, he was hanged after a show-trial by the People's Court.
